Part of the company’s objective is a strong focus on environmental issues. We are all here because we love the beauty of the mountains. It seems as though some investors and developers have lost sight of this. At Carolina Mountain Realty & Development, we feel that development can be done in such a manner that it provides both a good return for investors, while not scarring the faces of the mountains we moved here to enjoy.

After moving from San Antonio, TX to Charlotte, NC in 1984, Brian began spending his free time and summers in the mountains of Western North Carolina. After graduating from NC State University in 1996 with a B.S. in Ecosystem assessment, he spent a short stint in Park City, Utah. However, he had a hard time forgetting about our beautiful NC Mountains and returned permanently to Madison County in the spring of 1998.

Since then, his appreciation and love for what our mountains have to offer - skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, unspoiled vistas and quiet privacy - has only deepened. Subsequently, Brian acquired his NC General Contractor's License, started Blue Ridge Homes and High Country Partners – a land development company, and received his full broker's license and started Carolina Mountain Realty & Development.
